In Ayutthaya, I happened to see the opera played in the temple next to the hotel I stayed. It was noisy that evening, knowing that I wouldn't get to sleep until midnight, I might as well go and see what was happening .
Thai opera is something new to me. So I have no background information about this. Due to language barrier, I did not manage to get information about this opera.

The audiences
The audiences are the residences around this area. It reminds me of the Chinese opera in my own village where the opera plays at the temple once every year during the festive season.
