In Ayutthaya, I happened to see the opera played in the temple next to the hotel I stayed. It was noisy that evening, knowing that I wouldn't get to sleep until midnight, I might as well go and see what was happening .
Thai opera is something new to me. So I have no background information about this. Due to language barrier, I did not manage to get information about this opera.

On the stage
The stage was colourful with the glamourous costumes. No too much movement by the actors, a lot talking with the accompanying traditional percussion musics.
